Playing for the Ozark Generals

Playing for the Generals:

The Generals Baseball Club of the Ozarks, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, compete independently in the Midwest. The team plays at Meador Park in Springfield, the primary home field for the organization since 1996 & also at Barnhouse Field in west Springfield.

Player applications for 2021 can be downloaded here. (Sending in the application does not provide a roster spot without approval, but simply increases consideration.) Roster makeup is heavily upperclassman: SR, JR, & JUCO Soph. Seniors who have completed their college eligibility & are looking to sign with a professional league are given roster preference. Freshman position players are considered only after late April. Red-shirts are not taken from any level of college baseball unless a former player.

Players or coaches with questions can contact Manager, Rusty Aton, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. 417 832-8830 or email to rda160@yahoo.com

Team transportation for long road trips in the form of a team owned van is available for position player and pitchers who are expected to play those series.

    Wood Bats

Position players will have team owned composite bats available or can use their own wood bat. Players may use any approved wood bat.
